1533233 Internally coating pipes ENGLISH CLAYS LOVERING POCHIN & CO Ltd 19 Nov 1975 [21 Nov 1974] 50586/74 Addition to 1444225 Heading B2E [Also in Division F2] A method of lining a pipe 10 as in the Parent Specification 1444225 wherein a gas (e.g. air) at a temperature higher than the temperature of the lining is blown axially through the pipe for a short period after spinning has started to cause entrained air bubbles in the liquid to be removed. The gas is blown via an injection tube 33 fitted with a cowl 34 to ensure that the injector nozzle fills the hole 15 in the cover 12. The hole 15A in cover 12A at the downstream end of the pipe 10 may be larger than hole 15 to allow the gas to flow rapidly through the pipe.
