<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a foot-rest excellent in strength in a simple way by extending a part of a protector covering an engine from below, as far as between a foot-rest and a rear fender. CONSTITUTION:An engine 18 is installed inside a body frame 2. Foot-rests 22 are fitted at a lower part frame 4 by means of bolts 23. Front fenders 25 and rear fenders 26 covering front wheels 11 and rear wheels 14 respectively are further disposed in front of and behind the foot-rests 22. On the other hand, an engine protector 27 for covering the engine 18 and the lower part frame 4 is disposed below the engine 18 and the lower part frame 4. In this case, both side parts of the engine protector 27 are extended more to the outside than the protruding ends of the foot-rests 22. The extended edges are set as auxiliary foot-rests 27a which are formed of front and rear pipes 28, 29 and outer pipes 30.</p> |
