PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rainwater nonintrusion apparatus for an external connecting passage capable of keeping out the rainwater dropping from right and left handrail parts of a joint device for the external connecting passage into the connecting passage in a lower part without fail. SOLUTION: This rainwater nonintrusion apparatus for the external connecting passage constituted by arranging a plurality of external connecting passages in upper and lower sections is composed of a pair of supporting rails 15 fixed on a bottom face skeleton close to both of end parts of the connecting passage 8 or a side wall skeleton close to a bottom face, a pair of sliding rainwater nonintrusion members allowing tip parts supported slidably and movably on the pair of supporting rails 15 to abut on an external wall of the external passage in a building on one side and keeping out the rainwater dropping from right and left handrails 10 of a joint device for the external connecting passage in an upper part into the connecting passage, and an energizing mechanism 17 for energizing the tip parts of the pair of sliding rainwater nonintrusion members to abut on the external wall of the external passage in the building on one side at all times.
