PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly and smoothly discharge sand by suppressing the excessive energy consumption of an SCP construction method. SOLUTION: In a sand compaction pile driving method, the sand pile is driven by applying air pressure on sand 3 in a casing pile 1. In a sand discharge method for the sand compaction pile driving method, the sand 3 in the casing pipe 1 is discharged out of the casing pipe 1 through an air jet nozzle 2 from the lateral side of the leading end of the casing pipe 1 without the application of pressure from an upper portion of the casing pipe 1.
