PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screed unit of construction machinery for a pavement, which can obtain the sufficient stroke of expansion/contraction of an expansion screed with respect to a main screed. SOLUTION: Supporting mechanisms 24 and 25, which make the expansion screeds 22 and 23 supported in such a manner as to be movable in a widening direction, respectively, are provided between the one-side portion and other-side portion of the main screed 21, and the one-side and other-side expansion screeds 22 and 23. In the supporting mechanisms 24 and 25, holding bodies 33 are provided in the widening-direction fixed positions of the one-side and other-side portions on the side of the main screed 21, respectively, and a plurality of main-side guide shafts 41 are fitted into the holding bodies 33 in such a manner as to be freely slidable in the widening direction throughout their lengths. Sliding bodies 42 integrated with the one-side and other-side expansion screeds 22 and 23 are fitted in such a manner as to be freely slidable in the widening direction, throughout the lengths of a plurality of expansion/contraction-side guide shafts 43 which are provided in parallel with and integrally with the main-side shafts 41, respectively.
