PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dentifrice composition having high stability of dextranase in a preparation with time, excellent in dental plaque-removing effect, having little unusual taste after using and having high cleaning feeling in the oral cavity. SOLUTION: The dentifrice composition is obtained by formulating a dentifrice composition containing dextranase with sodium lauryl sulfate, a polyoxyethylene hardened castor oil having 10-30 mol average additional molar number of ethylene oxide, a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether having a 14-18C alkyl group and having 3-8 mol average additional molar numbers of ethylene oxide and sodium hydrogen carbonate in an amount of 0.1-1.0 mass% based on total composition, optionally further, a polishing agent selected from a silica-based polishing agent and aluminum hydroxide.
