PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting mechanism of a can lid, separating the stacked can lids one by one, without deforming or damaging the can lids. SOLUTION: The cutting plate 1 for a conveying device of a can lid, separating the plurality of can lids stacked in a vertical direction one by one and transferring them downstream at predetermined intervals. The cutting plate is a circular flat member rotatably disposed to a peripheral part of the can lid and getting in between the can lids of which edge parts are vertically overlapped with each other and supporting the upstream can lid. The cutting plate has a reduced diameter part of which the outer peripheral part is in non-contact state with an outer peripheral part of the can lid, and an enlarged diameter part extended until it turns to be in a contact state from the non-contact state. The diameter is gradually enlarged in a rotational direction, and a discharge part transferring the can lids downstream is formed to a portion between the enlarged diameter part and the reduced diameter part.
