PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a specimen-carrying container 80 with high safety. SOLUTION: A primary container 90 which is a specimen container storing a specimen is wholly surrounded by a sheet-like absorbing material 91 to form a primary package 92. The primary package is surrounded by a first sheet-like cushioning material 93 to form a secondary package 94. The secondary package 94 is surrounded by a second sheet-like cushioning material 95 to form a tertiary package 96, and stored in a secondary container 50 being a hermetic container. The secondary container 50 is surrounded by a third sheet-like cushioning material 60 and stored in a tertiary container 70 being an external box container to form a specimen-carrying container 80.
