Electric fence control circuit - has transformer primary supply controlled by transistor circuit with capacitor charged through resistors

The electric fence has a power supply circuit which charges a condenser (I) through resistor. When its threshold value is reached, a transistor fires and discharges the condenser. The latter-recharges and the process repeats. Operation of the transistor creates an amplified pulse so that a further transistor switches a power transistor to make and break successively the circuit through the transformer primary. This results in a high tension output from the transformer secondary. A zener protects the power transistor.
