Remote controlled gantry drive unit - has motor, hydraulic pump and pressure limiter in compartment under receiver and relay space

The hydraulic drive unit controlled from a remote position by radio signals, is used to move a gantry. It houses a radio receiver with printed circuits, and two relays operated by the signals received, which control an electric drive motor, and a pressure limiter and an electo valve. The hydraulic gear pump is immersed in oil. The system also incorporates an inspection door, a manual release system and a hydraulic distribution system. The receiver consists of two printed circuit assemblies, for the 27 MHz waveband. The motor, valve and pressure limiter are in a main central compartment and above this is an isothermic compartment with relays and receiver.
