<p>The non-magnetic oblong plug is for sealing an artificial bowel outlet, and is inhomogeneous in the lengthwise direction. It comprises a first section (16'), which is thinner or more easily compressible than the second one (14'). There can be two second sections separated by a first one, and a core (22) of non-magnetic material, this being oblong and thickened at the ends. The core can form a hollow chamber with gas inlet and outlet at opposite ends and containing a deodorant such as active carbon. A disc-type cover (32) can be fitted to one end of the plug, which can be corrugated on the outside.</p> |
