In a pressure-sensitive adhesive strip whose adhesive layer is a void-free matrix of a pressure-sensitive adhesive and glass microspheres which has the appearance of an adhesive strip with a foam backing, the adhesive layer is perfectly elastic under short-term loads, but is less elastic under prolonged loads and adapts well and adheres well to rough and uneven surfaces.
