Insulating switch housing comprising two identical shells - has walls separating screw terminals on each side of contact bridge

The switch has an insulating housing containing several moving contact bridges interacting with fixed contacts on each side. The fixed contacts are inclined at identical angles in the same direction so that wire ends can be inserted beneath their connecting screws. The housing consists of two identical shells with each contact bridge (5) moving in a recess at its centre between two pairs of fixed contacts. Each of the four fixed contacts is electrically connected to an inclined screw terminal (4) -- 2 on each side of the recess. The two terminals on each side are separated by a wall (10). Each wall is attached to one shell by moulding or machining with it and is fixed to the other shell by ultrasonic welding.
