Capacitor housing metal cover disc - has centering element in disc for locating in injection mould and disc edge rubber seal

The capacitor housing cover disc has its peripheral edge surrounded by a rubber seal. the metal disc (2) has a centering element (4) of rotation symmetrical configuration, extending on one disc side at right angles to its plane, the centering element being intended for use in an injection mould. The rubber seal (1) is injection moulded round the metal disc edge (3) on all sides. Preferably the disc is plate-shaped with a flat edge and depressed centre part. The latter, seen from the convex side, is concave with a maximum dishing of a fraction of a millimetre. The centering element may be formed by a capacitor winding core in one piece with the metal disc.
