<p>The door comprises two panels whose ends butt together, the mating faces each having a groove to accommodate a component securing them together. The component consists of two or more strips (15, 16), separated by a plate (17) parallel to the external faces of the door. The plate can be of flexible sheet metal, and secured to each panel at two or more points, being free between the fixing points. The fixing devices can be screws or rivets (20, 21) at right angles to the external faces (10a, 10b) of the door, and passing through part of the panel, one of the strips, and the plate.</p> |
