A cohesive quantity of the assembly parts is repeatedly lifted and released assembly parts are discharged, the lifting process being continued until the quantity of assembly parts has been separated. To increase the effect, the cohesive quantity of the assembly parts is taken hold of from above and lifted in a suspended manner and released in a predetermined position, e.g. having been deposited once again. In the apparatus, a supply container (1) for a quantity of assembly parts cohesive has an outlet (2) leading to a removal point for assembly parts which have been separated. A lifting device (8, 9) which can be lowered down to the region of the support (3) acts as an apparatus for repeatedly lifting and depositing the quantity of parts on the support. <IMAGE>
