<p>The mounting for a roller shutter consists of a winding core in the form of a hollow spindle, rotating on a continuous axle with both ends fixed in the shutter box sides, or on two stump axles fixed there. the open ends of the axle, or axle stumps are fitted with a support plate (6, 9) or similar, and can be extended at least at one end. One axle end or stump at least can be hollow (2), for axial displacement of a threaded spindle with a nut supported on the axle end, which allows continuous lengthways adjustment and fixing in any position required. This enables a prefabricated roller shutter box to be subsequently fixed with great accuracy in any suitably shaped window or door lintel. and also replaced without breaking the wall open.</p> |
