The double-skined roof of trapezoid sheet metal plating, lying on purlins, is esp. suitable for prefabricated buildings, with spacer profile pieces fitted between the two skins at purlin height. Pressure-resistant inlays, preventing gas formation, and with low heat conductivity, are fitted in the upward open profile sections of the bottom sheet metal skin, transversely to purlins and spacer pieces, and extending over the breadth of the purlins. These may be cuboid in shape, and secured against lengthways displacement in their profile cross-section. This increases safety in the event of fire, with the roof retaining its shape underneath as well as on top, under the effect of heat.
|
