<p>The mono-ski made in two half shalls which are hinged together as in the main patent, has improved running characteristics for the ski. The edges of the ski have moulded ridges which can be adjusted for height. These ridges have a height which is greater than their breadth and have parallel perpendicular surfaces. These ridges are adjusted to maximum height so that they penetrate fully into loose snow and give maximum resistance to side slip. In heavy soft snow the height is reduced to permit the desired amount of side slip to suit the individual skier.</p> |
