Thin layer thermistor has aluminium tantalum coating - powdered onto support of glass, ceramic or plastics

A thin-layer thermistor consists of Al-Ta coating powdered onto a support material. The coating may also contain oxygen and/or carbon dioxide. Pref. coating thickness is 200 mm. The support material may be glass or ceramic or a plastics sheet. If it is a plastics sheet, two aluminium strips may be applied onto opposite sides of the Al-Ta coating, the connecting wires being welded to these strips.
