PURPOSE:To form an image having stable density on a recording medium by making an electrode aggregate having many recording electrodes and holes for letting developer pass abut on the surface of a developer supplying means and specifying the position and the area of the holes. CONSTITUTION:The electrode aggregate 21 having many recording electrodes 9 and the holes 25 for letting developer pass which are arranged along a front edge part 22 is brought into contact with the non-magnetic cylinder 8 which is set as the developer supplying means. Then, the distance between the center of the hole for letting developer pass and the front edge part 22 is set >=5mm and <=15mm and the aperture area of the hole is set >=2mm<2>. By uniformly supplying developer behind the aggregate 21 and controlling the impressed voltage of the recording electrodes 9 with the aid of a recording control means 10 which receives an image signal, the developer is attached on the recording medium of a display which moves on the front surface of the non-magnetic cylinder 8. Since the position and the area of the hole is devised in such a manner, the image having the fixed density is formed. |
