<p>The tops of the fingers have padded pieces, in, made of a flexible material such as foamed plastic, so that the tips of the fingers are in the form of claws. The padded pieces are on the finger-tips, so that they act as extensions to the fingers, both in length and breadth. At least the thumb and the little finger are widened, so that the hand-span is increased. The palm of the glove may be reinforced by the padding forming a cup in the hands for retaining the ball.</p> |
