The permanently retained, prefabricated formwork element comprises a concrete slab with flat reinforcement, with rear side connectable to the site concrete and front side free from subsequent finishing working. The flat reinforcement esp. in the form of a steel mat, is held at an interval from the rear side and joined to the concrete slab by reinforcing rods cast into concrete ribs formed on the rear side. These ribs pref. run parallel to each other, and have lengthways rods embedded in them, together with the intersections of these with cross rods. The concrete slab and ribs may be made of fibre concrete. This can be prefabricated in sections of the required size, and quickly and easily joined to site concrete. It is also readily transportable and contributes to load bearing.
|
