<p>A falst-twist textured polyester yarn, partic. PET, is composed of a core of fine filaments and a sheath of a lesser number of coarser filaments helically wrapped around the core. The core pref. comprises 24 filaments of 30.5 decitex and the sheath comprises three filaments of 37 decitex. The yarn is pref. made up of filaments of a multi-lobal cross-section of six to twelve lobes. When made up into fabric, such yarns offer a handle and appearance similar to crepe.</p> |
