PRODUCTION OF GLAZED SUBSTRATE

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a glazed substrate with a projecting part by a single firing process by coating an insulating substrate with a green glass layer having a low softening point in a proper width, coating the layer with a green glass layer having a high softening point in a prescribed width and firing the coated substrate. CONSTITUTION:An insulating substrate is coated with a green glass layer having a low softening point in a proper width and the layer is coated with a green glass layer having a high softening point within the range of about 1/3 of the width from both ends. The coated substrate is then fired. The lower layer is first melted and the firing is finished in the early stage of melting of the upper layer. A glazed substrate with a projecting part for a thermal head is easily obtd. by a single firing process.
