A moire pattern, similar to contour lines on a graphical map, is formed by a pair of projectors having slides containing vertical, parallel lines--black and white, imaging arrays of light and dark lines. When projectors are spaced apart and angled with respect to each other, an interference pattern, the moire pattern, forms lines of darkness and of light at regular spacings along the projections thereof. When projected upon an object, as an individual, the result is a contour pattern, which may then be photographed. An apparatus to carry a pair of projectors and a camera permits the pattern to be precisely formed for reproducible results with the camera.
|
