The tachometric signal generator and/or angular position monitor for a rotating shaft comprises a magnetic circuit housed in a disc(14) mounted coaxially to the shaft(13). Receiving heads(16-18) are composed of magnets with polar pieces which detect the passage w.r.t. electronic devices(26, 28). The devices comprise magnetic potentiometers which are connected in a measuring bridge network. The diagonal connection of the bridge divides the two branches and furnishes an output signal to a rapid comparator which in turn emits output pulses indicative of rotational speed.
