The bracket (1) is made of sheet metal in the shape of a tee. The horizontal bar of the tee is folded to make a box section (10) with a separate central tongue (9). The lower end of the stroke of the tee is bent to form a channel section (16). The plastic fascia board is slid into the channel (16) and into the box sections (10). The bracket (11) is then attached to a rafter by nails through the hole (5) and slot (6) in the flange (4). A support for the guttering is fitted between the tongue (9) and the inner faces of the box sections (10).
