<p>A lubricant for insertion between a driving cable and a guiding sleeve for the cable consists of >=10 (40) wt. % Ca stearate dissolved in a solvent. The solvent is partic. (partly) a silicone grease. A driving system formed by the cable and sleeve, with the inserted lubricant, is claimed. Esp., the cable is formed by >=1 metal wire coated with polyamide, and the sleeve is of polypropylene. The lubricant is esp. used for clutch or brake cables, or similar cables, in vehicles. Sudden jerking during movement of the cable in the sleeve is eliminated.</p> |
