<p>The container outlet has a ball valve (14) closing onto a seat (16) in the housing (12). The connecting piece has a number of claws (42, 44) which are located longitudinally in an open cylinder (50). The claws fit over the groove (18) in the container outlet. A plunger (28) fitted on the plug (20) is loaded by a helical spring (58) at the base of the connector. The plug is bored to allow the gas to the valve (36). The connector is opened by moving the outer cylinder (50) towards the container and compressing the spring against the ball valve.</p> |
