The equipment secures insulating material in a cavity, having a nearly flat plate section with an opening approx. in the centre and open to the edge of the plate section, together with clip for securing on an anchor piece between the halves of a cavity wall. The clip comprises a tube (2) at right angles to the plate section and open on the same side, with clamping portions (4) on opposite sides of the opening. These portions can be lips hinging about points on the tube circumference, and with parts locking into engagement with each other.
