In the bad-weather-warning device with two mirrors (52, 53), all the facets (54), located one next to the other, of a mirror together form a polygonal progression in their respective horizontal sections, the first mirror (52) being made up of the first (1), third (3) and fifth (5), and the second mirror (53) being made up of the second (2), fourth (4) and sixth (6), portions of a continuous polygonal progression (55), in which the reflection signals (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) follow one another. Arranging the portions having uneven reference numbers in one mirror (52) and those with even reference numbers in the other mirror (53) generates light signals which jump from one mirror to the other, the effectiveness of the bad-weather-warning device thus being increased. <IMAGE>
