Electrode array for electron valve - with restored contact pressure by heating cold formed springy supports of special alloy

An electron valve has an electrode array, which is supported at the inside wall of the bulb by springy metallic elements. These elements are made of a metal alloy which has been given a changed shape with little or no contact pressure by cold metal forming. By subsequent heat treatment this alloy resumes its original shape with a stronger contact pressure. The valve is used for cathode-ray and TV picture tubes. Any damage of the inside wall of the valve is eliminated by the insertion of the electrode array.
