The vine grafting machine consists of a pair of rotary discs fixed on a base plate with holding elements for the grafting. There is also a cutting device to prepare the graftings for connection. The discs (6,7) carry the holding elements for the graftings and are so arranged on the base plate (1) that their axes of rotation 8,9) intersect. The centering axis (18) of each holding element (15) is at an angle (beta) with respect to the front face of the discs (6,7). This angle (beta) is half the angle (alpha) between the axes of rotation of the discs.
