<p>The root crop harvester has a frame, which, for supporting different loads, is supported on one side by a wheel and on the other side by two wheels. On each machine side, a wheel (2,3) has a brake device. When the collection container (7,8) is empty and according to the operating instructions for machine suspension, the brake-less wheel (4) has its support plane (running surface) above the support plane (running face) of the brakable wheels (2,3) so that it is out of operation when travelling on solid ground (such as fixed paths, roads etc.). The two wheels on one machine side (3,4) have equal diameters.</p> |
