The multi-purpose furniture guarantees a particularly large number of possibilities of use, there also being the possibility of using it for play. It has two identical side cheeks (1) which run parallel to one another and form the lateral boundaries of the furniture. Said side cheeks have lower edge surfaces which are profiled in a curve and in each case two ends (7) bounded by a plane at the rear. The side cheeks (1) are joined together at the rear via a seat board (2) and at the front via a connecting board (3). Furthermore, one end of a continuation (5) mounted on the connecting board (3) and the upper edge surfaces of the side cheeks lie in a plane which runs approximately parallel to the seat board (2). With this design, the multi-purpose furniture can be used as a table, as a children's rocker, as a seat and as a desk with an attached seat. <IMAGE>
