The soap dispenser is operated by one hand only, and consists of a pump which dispenses metered amounts of liquid soap. The pump is partly incorporated inside an interchangeable bottle which has its open facing downwards, and partly consists of a lever mounted in the cover of the casing (1). An operating push button (30) is incorporated along the entire width of the bottom of the housing's cover (1). Between the push-button (30) and the back (1) is an outlet (5) for the pump. The pump consists of a valve plate at the head of the bottle (11), which closes an opening in the bottle. Fixed in the opening is a ball valve. The valve plate, sleeve and ball valve form one unit with the bottle (11). The push button (30) has an arm (36) with a slot (24) in it fitting into a groove in an outlet nozzle (18), and is mounted in two bearing blocks (27).
