<p>Foil sliding bearing with two lengths of foil sheet, one above the other, is as used between concrete flat roofs and the supporting masonry. The lower foil sheet, serving as stay, is made of rigid material with a low coefficient of expansion, pref. as stretched low-pressure polyethylene. It may be made up from two layers of foil, with lines of tension at right angles to each other. A third sheet of foil, in pastry form, may be fitted as sliding layer between the top foil and the anchoring foil. The underside of the anchoring foil can be coated with foamed plastic. Unavoidable residual forces are rendered ineffective, without involving the inconvenience of ring anchors.</p> |
