The metal encapsulated pressurised-gas (SF6) insulated HV switching or distribution board comprises at least one power-switch, with isolation switch(es) and earthing switch(es) and in partic. a multiple busbar. To provide a simple and compact arrangement of the isolation switch(es), whereby there is no need for two gas-tight isolators as well as two flange connections for each isolation switch housing, as in an earlier arrangement, the switches are arranged in the branch point or junction of a conductor run between the power switch and the busbars and are located in a common capsule section. The isolation switches for one double busbar are specif. arranged in a T-shaped capsule section, such that the latter is connected, via two connection flanges with the double busbar and a third connection flange with the power switch.
