The measuring arrangement automatically balances phases of measuring value pick-ups. The device has a carrier frequency generator supplying the pick-up, and a signal transmission path between the pick-up and display unit. A voltage delivered by a low-pass filter is applied to a reversible counter through a decision unit, and also through a voltage to frequency converter and a blocking device. These pulses are counted and applied through resistors coded by switches to a summating amplifier connected to the signal transmission path.
