Panel frame for telephone exchanges - carries earthing rail of angled cross=section and holders with tongues retaining conductive rails

In a panel frame, for a telephone system, comprising holders with tongues for retaining current-conducting rails an earthing rail of angled cross-section is also provided. One limb of the earthing rail is held between tongues of the holders and the other limb is bolted directly to the frame. The other limb is formed with cut-outs which expose the holders. The earthing rail can be mounted on the frame or removed without the holders having to be released. All the current rails to one side of the earthing rail can be left in place when the earthing rail is being mounted or removed. The earthing bar pred. has an L-shaped cross-section and may be made from pressed sheet metal.
