<p>Prodn. of aerosol explosions consists of using one or more aerosol-forming substances contained in two or more vessels and distributing them to form an aerosol cloud, which is then exploded by means of an initiating charge. One common initiating charge is associated with the two or more vessels; these vessels together with the charge are brought separately to the target area and the charge is then detonated at a predetermined moment. Pref. the charge is not detonated until the aerosol-forming substances is distributed in the correct concentration within the cloud. A typical civil application may be the cutting of a lane through a tropical forest. By using only a single charge, instead of two charges as previously, less complicated appts. is required and transportation is facilitated.</p> |
