<p>Large quantities of wood from deciduous and coniferous trees lost in the Northern hemisphere if the timber is too thin to be floated down rivers, and other vegetable waste can be turned into paper, cardboard of fibre board by factory ships which travel to the site. The Diesel or gas engines of the ships are for propulsion when the finished products are to be transported. On site, their power is used for the machinery and for electric power generation. Their cooling water is used as preheated boiler feed water for the required process steam.</p> |
