The releasable pipe connection is used in pipes which have outwardly projecting flanges on their ends to be connected. An annular element (5) is provided at the connection point of such pipes, is connected to the two pipes in a sealing manner and engages in at least one of the two contiguous pipe ends. A sealing element (8, 9) is provided between the outer wall of the annular element (5) and the inner wall of the corresponding pipe flange (3, 4). Sealing means (10) engage on the flanges of the pipes and prevent the two pipes (1, 2) from moving apart from one another in an axial direction. A pipe connection of this type can be produced in an operationally reliable manner with simple means and it can also be very easily mounted or dismounted on a building site, for example. <IMAGE> |
