<p>The toy windmill comprises a propeller connected to a sliding component, the wind acting on the propeller and driving its shaft. The propeller is a rotor which is detachable, as are other components. The propeller can be of the screw type, the friction between it and the component sliding on it producing a noise. The components can be of plastic and tinplate, and the windmill can be arranged to act as a wind direction indicator, turning always towards windward, the blades being mounted at the rear and the sliding noise-making component at the front.</p> |
