PURPOSE:To separate organometallic complexes contained in 4-ene-3-oxosteroids by the following sequential step^ydrogenation of 1,4-dienes to form title compounds useful as intermediate for pharmaceuticals, conversion into C3-enamine compounds, extraction with acidic water, hydrolysis, and extraction with organic solvents. |
