PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for molding a composite material which can improve the yield and eliminate secondary processing of the composite material, which is a molded article, by eliminating an arrangement variation caused by transporting a reinforcing substrate.SOLUTION: In a method for molding a composite material 400, a reinforcing substrate 410 is placed on a first mold 10, the reinforcing substrate is pressed by the first mold and a second mold 110 to perform preforming, and the reinforcing substrate is trimmed in a state placed on the first mold. Subsequently, in a state placing the trimmed reinforcing substrate on the first mold, a cavity 330 is formed by the first mold and a third mold 310, and a resin 420 is injected into the cavity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
