PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quay structure such as a quay and a bank protection, which has superior durability and stability and can be constructed at low cost, and a construction method thereof.SOLUTION: A quay structure 12 comprises: a wall body 13 installed underwater; a back-filling part 15, which is formed by piling up back-filling stones 14, 14...on a rear face side of the wall body 13; multiple reinforcement laying members 16, 16...in a planar, net-like or lattice-like shape, which are laid in a desired height of the back-filling part 15 in a state where one end is connected to the wall body 13; filling layers 23, 24 above and under filling materials 22, 22 laid between the back-filling stones 14, 14 consisting the back-filling part 15 and the reinforcement laying member 16. The reinforcement laying member 16 is sandwiched between the filling layers 23, 24 above and under the reinforcement laying member and the wall body 13 is supported by the back-filling part 15 through the reinforcement laying member 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
