Protection of sea bed structures - includes long strip shaped covering of reinforced concrete lowered over structure

The protection is for structures which rest on the sea bed such as pipe-lines. The structure has a lengthways running strip shaped covering of reinforced concrete which is lowered over the structure. The covering is produced by spraying non-set concrete from a vehicle which is moved along the structure to be covered. The spraying takes place over an outlet surface which extends downwards into the water. The concrete is encased by a tubular fabric (15) or a corresponding foil. Simultaneously with the spraying of the concrete, an elastic reinforcing skeleton is rolled out in track shape. A reinforcing skeleton is introduced into the concrete and has several inter-anchored reinforcing networks which can absorb the internal pressure in the concrete during laying.
