Separator for packing bottles into case - is folded from blank to hold three bottles with centre bottle neck level with outer bottle bases

The separator is used to prevent the bottles contacting each other. It is made from a single cardboard blank and folded to provide three compartments(4). the fold lines for the centre compartment are slitted(8) to enable the sides to overlap and form a tapered configuration; this holds the centre bottle firmly along its length. Each of the two outer bottles have similarly tapered sides(5) in the opposite sense, the bases of these bottles being level with the neck of the centre one. Horizontal tabs(10) at the four corners ensure the separator is firmly held inside the case.
